5K + 10K Hummingbird Run
A Safe Driving Initiative in Memory of Elizabeth K. Giordano
Safe Driving Initiative
Elizabeth Giordano was a Wrentham, Massachusetts native who lost her life at the age of 24 in May 2009 in a car crash caused by distracted driving. Elizabeth’s family started the Hummingbird Foundation to honor the memory of a beautiful, loving woman whose life ended before it had barely begun, to extend her legacy of helping others, to raise awareness of — and combat — distracted driving and lessen the toll it takes on people everywhere. Through our Safe Driving Initiative, we ask our participants and supporters to pledge never to drive while distracted.
